The Parish Council is responsible for;
All grass cutting in the village from Main Road, junction of Eldon Way to Main Road at the junction of West Haddon Road/Crick Bypass roundabout – excluding the grass bordering Crick by-pass. (MGWSP – Brixworth – 01604 – 883400)
All street lighting within the village with the exception of the David Wilson Homes Estate (Bury Dyke, Monks Way, Ashworth Close, Coleman Close, Dunn Close, Fallowfields, Hatherley Close, Pyke Way & Thomas Close). Streetlight faults can be reported to the Clerk or E.on – parish.repairs@eon-uk.com
Crick closed churchyard and burial ground to the rear of St. Margaret’s Church, Church Street, Crick.
The publication of information booklets; the printing and distribution of Crick News magazine.
Yearly publication of income and expenditure accounts following internal and external audits.
The Parish Council provides the following services;
Provision and maintenance of village seats, litter and dog waste bins, village map boards, notice boards and traffic calming measures.
IT Centre at Church Street where broadband connections are available to members of the public. Opening hours are from 2-4pm every Tuesday or via an appointment with the Clerk – 01788 822448, Roger Lowe – 01788 822886 or Jim Goodger -01788 822723.
The Clerk will forward requests for maintenance to NCC Rights of Way, repairs of village benches, streetlight faults, requests for work to trees on public land.
